- Information about the deceased (name, date of passing, relationship to you)
- Account and property information you choose to share
- Your email address for account creation and communication
- Progress data (completed tasks, notes) to save your work
We do not collect sensitive financial details, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information unless you explicitly choose to include it in your notes.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
- Generate your personalized checklist
- Save your progress so you can return anytime
- Provide customer support when needed
- Improve our service (using anonymized, aggregated data)
Data Security
We take security seriously:
- All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest
- We use Supabase, an enterprise-grade platform, for secure authentication and storage
- Your passwords are never stored in plain text
- We follow industry best practices for data protection
Data Sharing
We never sell your data. We do not share your personal information with:
- Advertisers or marketing companies
- Funeral homes or service providers
- Third-party data brokers
- Any other external parties
The only exception is if we are required by law to disclose information (e.g., a valid court order).

- Delete your account and all associated data

We retain your data only as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently remove all associated data from our systems within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Harbor Aftercare is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
